About Us

CBEC serves the rural sections of seven counties.  Our area is mountainous with a large section owned by the National Forest, The Virginia Department of Forestry and the Appalachian Trail.

Our membership is 99% residential and the power load is 96% residential.

The Cooperative headquarters is centrally located in New Castle, Virginia.
